CW Tack & Western Wear is a family owned and operated business that, as of 11 April 2023, has been in the Wasilla area for 39 years.  Charlie has owned and been around horses for most of his life, and he and his family have been involved in rodeo here in Alaska since its beginning.  Charlie is more than willing to help anyone that wants to learn about rodeo, or horses in general, and share his lifetime of knowledge and experience. 


CW Tack & Western Wear carries a full line of western wear from hats to boots and everything in-between. We have a good selection of FR shirts and jeans, as well as safety toe work boots. We also have a full line of tack and equipment. If we do not have it in the store, we are more than happy to order it in for you. We are competitively priced and can usually meet or beat mail order prices, so stop by and see us before you order from outside.
